We are an independent non-profit organisation run by consultant oncologists and senior trainees based at the 2 Cancer Centres in South Wales. The Cardiff Course is dedicated to the education of oncology trainees preparing for the Royal College of Radiologists FRCR Part IIB Clinical Oncology examination, UK.
The course was founded in 1986 by Clinical Oncologists in Velindre Cancer Centre, Cardiff. It has developed to include faculty from South West Wales Cancer Centre, Swansea, and is a truly South Wales collaboration.
In 2019 we launched our course in India, and in 2023 we ran our first course in Hong Kong.
We have become established as one of the most popular preparatory courses in the world for the FRCR 2B Clinical Oncology exam
