Live Intensive UK Cardiff FRCR Course 2026 Face to Face Weekend

Intensive Face to Face Weekend – 3rd & 4th October 2026

This is a 2-day course aimed at those imminently sitting the FRCR2B examination (It may also be suitable to those who are planning to take the exam in Spring 2027, subject to course availability, see below)

The F2F weekend builds on the knowledge gained from the pre-recorded lectures and the live virtual course week, and aims to further refine your viva examination technique through a series of intense workshops and mock exams.

The weekend  includes:

  • A variety of key tumour site specific case-based sessions
  • Dedicated small group tumour sub-site workshops, which will be focussed on case-based/ viva style scenarios and discussions, led by our expert consultant faculty
  • Palliative radiotherapy planning
  • Communication and consent
  • 1 to 1 mock exams that simulate the real exam as much as possible, with personal feedback from your mock examiner.

Important:

Please note that the live course sessions are NOT recorded.

Our expectations of delegates

The weekend is aimed at sharpening your F2F exam skills, and improving your confidence. The sessions are all highly interactive, and you will be expected to engage, individually and in groups. Although this may seem daunting, we will create a friendly and safe learning environment to support you to do this, as far as we can.

In order to attend the F2F weekend, you must have already purchased and accessed the pre-recorded lectures and attended the live virtual course week, as that material will not be directly covered again during the F2F weekend, which is focussed on how to express and use your knowledge.
